21st Century Program

The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Afterschool Program is in need of candidates to serve as staff for their 2019-2020 programs.

 Program staff is needed to work at all building locations across the district; Priestley, Chief, Beck, and Oaklyn for grades K-5, Shikellamy Middle School for grades 6-8, and High School Credit Recovery. In addition to daily program staff, one site coordinator is needed at each location.

 Program staff duties and responsibilities: Lead students in group activities; offer a fun and relaxed learning environment with a focus on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) curriculum, report any student concerns and discipline infractions to the site coordinator. Candidates that offer creative and innovative group activity ideas will be given special consideration.

 Site Coordinator duties and responsibilities: Help develop and supervise staff led activity groups, monitor and report daily student attendance and discipline, contact parents to report any discipline infractions, communicate any program concerns to the afterschool directors.

Programs will operate Monday – Thursday for the three hours immediately following the school day.

Programs will begin Monday September 30, 2019 and conclude Thursday June 4, 2020. Candidates may apply to work all four days/week or particular days throughout the year. Availability will be considered upon hiring.
