Core Instructional Programs

English Language Arts

Academic Opportunities
Shikellamy High School provides students with opportunities to personalize their educational experience through advanced coursework and career-focused learning.
Advanced Placement (AP)
Students may enroll in one of 14 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, offering rigorous college-level instruction and the opportunity to earn college credit through qualifying AP examination scores.
Dual Enrollment
Eligible students may earn college credit while enrolled at Shikellamy High School through partnerships with colleges and universities.
Career & Technical Education (CTE)
Students may participate in Career Pathways in:
- Construction Trades
- Medical Sciences
- Teaching and Education
- Entrepreneurship
- Diversified Occupations
Students also participate in internships, clinical experiences, cooperative education, and other work-based learning opportunities.
