Safe and Reliable Transportation for Shikellamy Students

The Shikellamy School District is committed to providing safe, efficient, and reliable transportation services for our students. Our transportation team works each day to ensure students have safe access to educational opportunities while traveling to and from school, athletic events, field trips, and other school-related activities.

Student safety is our highest priority. We appreciate the cooperation of our students, families, drivers, and community members in helping maintain a positive and safe transportation environment.

Transportation Department Responsibilities

The Transportation Department is responsible for:

  • Coordinating daily transportation services for eligible students
  • Managing bus routes, schedules, and transportation assignments
  • Working with transportation providers and drivers to ensure safe operations
  • Supporting transportation needs for school activities, athletics, and field trips
  • Addressing questions and concerns related to student transportation

Important Transportation Information

Families are encouraged to:

  • Ensure students arrive at their assigned bus stop on time.
  • Review bus safety expectations with their children.
  • Notify the district of any changes to transportation needs.
  • Contact the Transportation Department with questions regarding routes, stops, or transportation services.

Students are expected to follow all bus safety rules and demonstrate respectful behavior while riding district transportation. Safe transportation depends on the cooperation of everyone involved.
